How to switch between 3% and 4% desaturation scoring rule

Alternate between 3% and 4% respiratory events while scoring a study in EnsoSleep Study Management

The study must be initially scored at 3%, in order to switch between 3% and 4% events while viewing the study.

While viewing the study, switch between the 3% and 4% scoring rule using the drop down menu in the upper left corner, near the patient name.

When switching to 4%, events that do not meet the criteria threshold are “grayed out” to show they do not apply, but you can still edit or delete them. These “grayed out” events are not used for calculation when determining the related sleep study values and indices.

KB 34

In the example below, an obstructive hypopnea is marked by the 3% rules. Once we switch to 4%, this OH becomes a RERA, and the 3% desat is "grayed out."

Note: When you hover over one event, related events are highlighted. The percentage that appears in the obstructive hypopnea and desaturation events is the amount of desaturation.
